About Me

I’m a chemist based in the South East of the UK with a strong interest in crystallography and materials research. My work focuses on using crystallographic techniques to determine the structures of unknown crystalline systems, explore structure–property relationships, and investigate how materials behave in different conditions. I enjoy the problem-solving nature of this field —unravelling complex structures and gaining new insights into the materials that shape our world. I spent the early parts of my career at the University of Kent where I graduated with a PhD in Chemistry in 2025.

Outside of research, I’m an enthusiastic home cook, always keen to try new recipes and flavours. I also love board games, appreciating both the strategy and social aspect they bring. I’m also devoted cat lover and enjoy 3D modelling, rendering and printing.

I’m always happy to connect, whether it’s to discuss research, share ideas, or chat about a great new board game. Feel free to reach out!
